Privacy Policy

We are an informational curation directory. We link to kakox.com and to shopping agents via affiliate invites. We do not operate a marketplace, we do not sell products, and we do not handle payments or shipping.

1. What we collect (minimal)

• No accounts: No registration or login. We removed auth per 2026 update.
• Analytics (optional): Aggregated pageviews via privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies by default) to see which guides/tools are useful.
• Cookies only if you consent: If you accept, we may store a ref cookie to remember you arrived via bookmark, plus basic preferences (theme).
• No sensitive data: We do not ask for address, ID, or payment info.

2. Affiliate & external links

All links to kakox.com append ref=kakobuyspreadsheet.mobi. External agents (Kakobuy, Joyagoo, ACBuy…) receive their invite code in URL. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply. See e.g. Kakox privacy on kakox.com.

3. Search & tools

Hero/header search opens a new tab to kakox.com/search?q=…&ref=kakobuyspreadsheet.mobi and does NOT send your query to our servers except as a local fetch to /api/search-suggest for autocomplete (query truncated, not stored). Tools (calculators) run entirely in your browser.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Legitimate interest in providing a curated directory + consent for optional analytics cookies. You may object or withdraw consent via browser settings or Do Not Track.

5. Data retention

Suggest logs retained 7 days for abuse detection, then purged. No user profiles created.

6. Your rights

9. Why “not a merchant” matters for Google

We emit schema Organization + CollectionPage + Article only — never Product→Offer with price/shipping, so Google does not classify us as a merchant. Product cards are labeled “curated find” with disclosure, linking to Kakox.
